    Morning after breakfast fly to cochin. Welcome to God’s Own Country on arrival meet our representative then move to Guruvayur. On arrival check into the hotel. Later go for darshan in famous Krishna Temple, after darshan visit elephant camp. Overnight stay in Guruvayur.

    MUNNAR - SIGHTSEEING

    After having the breakfast proceed to sightseeing trip of Munnar; visiting the Eravikulam National Park where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr, visit Mattupetty Dam which offers many fascinating sights to relish. Enroute visit Echo Point, View Point & green carpet of Tea Gardens. Overnight stay in Munnar.

    MUNNAR TO THEKKADY

    After having the breakfast proceed to Thekkady which offers diverse attractions like Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Hill Station and Spice Plantation. Reach & check-in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Then proceed for sightseeing tour of thekkady, Boating in periyar dam, visit Spice Plantation, Elephant ride, Kathalai & Kalari shows and Ayurvedic massage. Visit the local spice market for some garden fresh spices and handicrafts. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

    THEKKADY TO ALLEPEY

    After enjoying the breakfast proceed to the boat Jetty to board the beautifully decorated houseboats and begin the enchanting backwater cruising.     After enjoying the breakfast drive to cochin, Enroute visit Chotanikkara Bagawathy amman temple. On arrival cochin, proceed for city sightseeing tour of cochin. The major tourist attractions of Cochin are Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jewish Synagogue, and Mattancherry Palace/Dutch Palace. Evening free and easy for shopping. Overnight stay in cochin.

Things to do

CHENNAI

1. Government Museum - The Government Museum also known as Egmore Museum or the Madras Museum is the second oldest museums in India after Indian museum in Kolkatta which is located in Egmore, Chennai. If you have any interest in Indian art this place is a must! an amazing collection of classic Indian bronze sculptures of dancing Siva's, Ganesh and Kali. These works are well lit, superb and well worth a look. This government museum has some primitive statues and some old artefacts. The most striking feature or attractive thing about this is the collection of paintings from the British era. Some paintings are of great painter Raja Ravi Verma. There are a lot of interesting displays in here including old statues of Hindu gods which are very impressive.

2. VGP Universal & Snow Kingdom - VGP Universal Kingdom is an amusement park located in East Coast Road in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It is the best theme park in Chennnai. The park provides several fun and adventure rides for children, youth and adults. It offer amusement water rides, fun attractions & thrilling snow games at family-friendly pricing.

3. Guindy National Park & Snake Park - It is the 8th-smallest National Park of India and one of the very few national parks situated inside a city (Adyar). Guindy Snake Park, it is located next to the Children's Park in the Guindy National Park campus. In addition to over thirty Indian snakes, this specialty zoo is home to domestic and exotic crocodiles, turtles and tortoises. A library and museum are also on site. For those interested in the study of snakes it is a wonderful place. Though creepy and scary at times, it is a place worth the visit.

4. Valluvar Kottam - It's a temple chariot like-monument in kodambakkam in Chennai, dedicated to the classical tamil poet philosopher Thiruvalluvar. In addition to being an important tourist destination in the city, Valluvar Kottam also plays host to some of the most important exhibitions and events in the city. Handlooms and handicrafts are regularly hosted in the auditorium here and is a good way to spend a few hours admiring the artistic beauty of both the what lays inside and outside. 

5. DakshinaChitra - DakshinaChitra is a living-history museum in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, dedicated to South Indian heritage and culture. Located 25 kms to the south of Chennai. It portrays a slice of the traditions, art, architecture, lifestyles, crafts and customs of 4 South Indian states - Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

6. B.M. Birla Planetarium - B. M. Birla Planetarium is a large planetarium in kotturpuram, Chennai providing a virtual tour of the night sky and holding cosmic shows on a specially perforated hemispherical aluminium inner dome. Multi-dimensional activities and multimedia projection arrangements which have been incorporated inside the sky theatre make the programme further lively and excited one.

7. Arignar Anna Zoological Park - It is the first public zoo in India, also known as the Vandalur Zoo, is a zoological garden located in Vandalur, is in the south western part of Chennai, about 31 kilometres from the Chennai Central and 15 kilometres from Chennai Airport. Well maintained zoo with an amazing diversity of flora and fauna. The animals are well kept and healthy. The four Bengal tigers born in the zoo were a treat to watch. It's a huge space and lots of walking required. Great that they have bicycle and e-vehicle option to roam in the zoo.

8. St. Thomas Mount - St. Thomas Mount is a small hillock in Chennai, near Guindy and very close to Chennai International Airport. The ancient Syrian Christian community of India trace the origin of their church to St. Thomas the Apostle.

9. Vivekananda House - Vivekanandar Illam, earlier known as Ice House or Castle Kernan is a historical building in Chennai. It was constructed in 1842 by Frederic Tudor. Indian Saint Swami Vivekananda stayed in the building when he visited Chennai in 1897 and was later renamed in his honor. Now, this historic place houses a permanent exhibition on Indian Culture and Swami Vivekananda’s Life.

Timing: 10.00 AM to 12.15 PM and from 3.00 PM to 7.15 PM except Mondays.

Entry Fee: Rs.10 per adult and Rs.5 per child.

10. MGM Dizzee World - MGM Dizzee World is a theme park located in East Coast Road, Chennai. The park has a log flume, Ferris wheel, spider spin, roller coaster, the funny mountain, dashing cars, super trooper, a water world and it also hosts special seasonal shows.

Park Timings: 10:30 A.M. - 6:30 P.M.

Entry Fee: Adult: 699 INR; Child: 549 INR

11. Queens Land - Queens Land is a theme park is located by the Chennai-Bangalore Trunk Road between Sriperumpudhur and Poonamalle.

The entry fee is 750 INR for an adult and 450 INR for a child. Children shorter than 2 feet (0.61 m) tall are not charged.

The park is open from 10 am to 6:30 pm on weekdays and 10:00 am to 7:30 pm on weekends and government holidays. It is closed on Mondays for maintenance, with the exception of holidays. Food and drink are available within the park.

12. Kishkinta - Kishkinta is a theme park located in Chennai, near Vandalur Railway station which has a serene atmosphere, 13 km south of Anakaputhur.

Timing: 10:00 AM to 06:30 PM

13. Vadapalani Murugan Temple - Renovated in 1920, this Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Muruga is a popular place to get married.

14. Kalikambal Temple - The K?lik?mbal Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shri K?lig?mb?l and Lord Kamadeswarar, located in Parry's corner locality of the city of Chennai.

15. Shree Sai Baba Temple - Shirdi Sai Baba Temple is a Hindu temple located in the neighbourhood of Mylapore & Akkarai in Chennai. It is dedicated to the Indian saint Sai Baba of Shirdi.

16. ISKCON - ISKCON Temple Chennai is a Vaishnava temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. It is located on the East Coast Road at Akkarai, Sholinganallur in southern Chennai. Built on 1.5 acres of land, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness Chennai is the largest Radha Krishna temple in Tamil Nadu.

17. Sowcarpet - Sowcarpet is a neighbourhood in the northern part of Chennai. Sowcarpet is one of the oldest neighbourhoods of the city with narrow streets and vintage buildings. It is a bustling commercial area of the city, and a range of wholesale markets are located here.

18. Annai Vailankanni Shrine - Gothic-style Catholic pilgrimage destination with a small museum & store for religious items.

COCHIN

1. Fort Kochi - Fort Kochi is a region in the city of Kochi in the state of Kerala. This is part of a handful of water-bound regions toward the south-west of the mainland Kochi, and collectively known as Old Kochi or West Kochi. Adjacent to this is Mattancherry.

2. Mattancherry Palace - The Mattancherry Palace is a Portuguese palace popularly known as the Dutch Palace, in Mattancherry, Kochi, in the Indian state of Kerala which features Kerala murals depicting portraits and exhibits of the Rajas of Kochi. The palace was included in the "tentative list" of UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Visiting Hours: 10:00 - 17:00 hours on all days except Fridays.

3. Cherai Beach - Cherai Beach is located in Cherai, a suburb of the city Kochi in the state of Kerala. One of the most visited beaches in the state, it is situated at around 25 km from downtown Kochi and 20 km from Cochin International Airport.

4. Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica - The Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica at Fort Kochi is one of the eight Basilicas in Kerala. Counted as one of the heritage edifices of Kerala, this church is one of the finest and most impressive churches in India and visited by tourists the whole year round. The church, for its inimitable beauty and grandeur, has become a must-see destination in Fort Kochi.

5. Willingdon Island - Willingdon Island is the largest artificial island in India, which forms part of the city of Kochi, in the state of Kerala. Much of the present Willingdon Island was claimed from the Lake of Kochi, filling in dredged soil around a previously existing, but tiny, natural island. One who wants to take a feel of serene atmosphere and natural beauty may visit here and enjoy holiday with pleasure. This island is a heart of Shipyard area of Cochin where luxury hotels are situated; some also provide Arabia Sea views as well.

6. Kerala Kathakali Centre - kerala kathakali centre popularly known as school  of traditional arts.Established and following our passion from 1994. 7. Mangalavanam Bird Sanctuary - Mangalavanam is an ecologically sensitive area situated at the centre of the Indian city of Kochi. It also houses a shallow tidal lake connected with Kochi backwaters by a canal. One of the major attractions is the beautiful watch tower which overlooks the sanctuary thereby giving a superb view to the tourists.

9. Gundu Island - The Gundu Island is one of the many islands that make up the city of Kochi. Gundu is the smallest island around Kochi with an area of 5 acres completely surrounded by coconut trees. The island is a charming combination of rolling waves, enchanting scenery and a tranquil atmosphere.

MUNNAR

1. Eravikulam National Park - Eravikulam National Park is a 97 km?2; national park located along the Western Ghats in the Idukki district of Kerala, it is the first national park in Kerala. The rare flora and fauna present in the park also attract visitors. Official vehicles take people on trips where one can experience the biodiversity of a high elevation shola-grassland system. One can view rare terrestrial and epiphytic orchids and beautiful wild balsams along with the Nilgiri Langur, leopards and the Indian Bison as well.

2. Mattupetty Dam - Mattupetty is among the most visited destinations in the tourist hotbed of Munnar. It is a beautiful picnic spot that regularly attracts visitors. People love visiting the dam and lake here and families can regularly be seen enjoying a fine afternoon in the area. The view of the valley from here is breath-taking and one gets to simply relax and enjoy the beautiful weather.

The most attractive part of Mattupetty dam is its still water which reflects the tea garden around. You can engage yourself with water sport activities like speed boating organized by district Tourism Promotion Council of Idukki (Munnar) and enjoy the pretty natural surroundings of this beautiful dam. Adventure lovers also have options here like trekking in the Shola forest. The best time to visit Mattupetty is from the month of August to May and it is very easily accessible from Munnar town.

3. Anamudi - The literal meaning of Anamudi is “Elephants Foreheads” arising from the fact that the peak is home to largest surviving population of Asian elephants, Gaurs and Nilgiri Tahrs. It's a mountain located in the Indian state of Kerala. It is the highest peak in the Western Ghats and South India.

Best time to visit: November to May

4. Tea Museum - The KDHP Tea Museum is an industry and history museum situated in Munnar, a town in the Idukki district of Kerala. Tata Tea Museum is its official name, but it's also known as Nalluthanni Estate where it is located, or Kannan Devan Hills Plantation Tea Museum.

5. Pothamedu View Point - Lofty overlook with a tea plantation, offering panoramas of the valley landscape below.

6. Attukad Waterfall - Multiple waterfalls cascading amid rolling hills, surrounded by hiking trails & panoramic views. It's one of the most popular tourist destinations in Munnar, ideal for trekking and picnics. This captivating tourist attraction is surrounded by thick jungle and lush green terrains, which are reachable only through a wooden bridge.

7. Wonder Valley Adventure and Amusement Park - In the midst of beautiful water scapes,mountains and mother nature, is a perfect place for you to rejoice, relax and re-energize you – the Wonder Valley Adventure and Amusement park. The park is situated just 13 kms from Munnar at Anachal. Indoor/outdoor amusement park featuring ropes courses, rock climbing, paint ball & a video arcade.

8. Carmelagiri Elephant Park - Carmelagiri Elephant Park is a private park for elephant riding through the hilly paths of Munnar forest, a part of Kerala tourism. Kerala is celebrated without a procession of decorated elephants and the elephant experience in Carmelagiri Elephant Park in Munnar is one the of the best in Kerala.
